Well it's that time of the year again. Tomorrow is the Tax Deadline. Interesting story is 47% of our population do not owe taxes. Hey wait a minute, I am part of the 47%. All the time I lived in the Northeast I owed money each and every year, I then move back down South and it's here that my accountant has me not only paying ZERO taxes for the last two years but managed to get us refunds. Think about this, I pay nothing but get money back. I am not going to tell you all of his tricks but here's one. Our weekly cleaning people, pool boy and landscapers are all being written off. I am sure each and everyone of you know a doctor and we know that doctors are really loving our government these days. So, all you do is have the doctor write a letter saying that you are physically restricted from doing any of those chores. OK sounds fishy??? Touch your elbow, either left or right, with your tongue. Can you do it? If you can't, you have a physical restriction and if you can, join the circus. See you in jail.

Dwat that Wabbit - Easter 2010
The Easter pictures are of Caden, Erin, Brad, Allison and Henry in Texas while in Connecticut it was Sean and Aunt Colleen. I think Henry was happy to get back to New York to give his stomach a rest. He tried chicken fried steak, mucho Tex-mex food, crawfish, stuffed jalapeno's and Alligator. Good times were had by all.

Boom!!! The East Gets Hit Again
Snow, snow and more snow at least that's what we read are reading about the northeast. OK it hasn't been that warm here but we haven't had to use our snow shovel, ooops we don't own a snow shovel. OK, ok it hasn't been exactly warm down here but we haven't had to use the snow shovel yet, oops we don't own a snow shovel. I especially enjoy talking to people up north and they all say "It's really pretty outside". Did you notice that they say "outside" because they are "inside" where it's warm. I must agree with them that new fallen snow IS pretty but unless things have drastically changed in the New York Metro area twenty four hours after the snow stops it turns brown and when the temperature goes above freezing the slush shows up. All of a sudden the snow comes off the trees and bushes exposing the bleak harsh look of winter. Pretty snow is in places like Telluride Co., or Whistler Mt., Vancouver where the Olympics are taking place.
Speaking of the Olympics I heard that Lindsey Vonn had to give her Gold Medal back and the committee gave it to Obama. It turns out that he has gone downhill faster than any skier on our team. (drum roll). Cheer up people, spring is just a few months away.
Colleen, who's exhausted from her tough job, sent the following picture and I quote the caption "another hard day on the job". She is already planning her fishing trips to Key West.
Meaghan was kind enough to send the following pictures of Sean venturing outside and a movie of his rendition of Frosty the Snowman.

Who Should Be Deported?
This was taken by an airport surveillance camera.
No puedo encontrar el cuarto de baƱoAwfully Quiet These Days
Things have been very quiet here. While it doesn't come as a surprise to us, the girls in CT and NJ have been hit hard with a few snowstorms. Remember kids, the nice weather is just a few months away. I read something this morning that by midnight tonight snow will have been on the ground in 50 states. The last to get it is Florida and the weather people are calling for snow in the Florida panhandle this afternoon. Crazy weather? Has anyone heard from Al Gore recently? The following pictures are from Frisco TX (just north of Dallas).

Well it looks like "The Madge" and myself are doing another cruise. We have booked passage on the "Jewel of the Seas" sailing from Fort Lauderdale on the 12th of November and heading to South and Central America. Anybody want to go to Colombia with us to score some drugs (Haha)? The gang that is going so far are the Calonicos and the Kennedys. With this crowd I hope the casino has plenty of money to lose.

2010
Twas the week after Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring not even a, hey that's right, NO ONE is here except for "The Madge, Cooper and myself. Everyone is gone. The last of the gang left this morning. This house now seems vacant especially with the grandchildren missing. Christmas was great this year. We celebrated it on the 25th with just eight of us. Frisco had an snow/ice storm on Christmas eve so on the 26th Erin, Brad and Caden made it down and finally on the 27th Henry showed up. Christmas wrappings were flying all over the place for three straight days. Our kids gave us a interesting gift. They hired a chef to come to the house on the 27th and cook our Christmas dinner, including appetizers and dessert. Chef Will arrived at 4 in the afternoon and we finished up at 10:15 that evening. Everything was delicious and I think Chef Will also enjoyed himself watching us and listening to the Murphy clan tell jokes and past stories about each other. I think he knew that he was in for trouble when during his preparation speech on how each dish would be made I asked whether he folded or just stirred the Lipton onion soup mix into the sour cream. And now for some pictures.
