After my barb at Meaghan about sending pictures, she surprised me and now it's entirely my fault that Seans pictures were not promptly posted. Sorry Meg.
The Madge was up in the Northeast for a couple of weeks and had a good time seeing both family and friends and enjoyed spending time with Sean.
Opening day of deer season marks the start of the holidays and my neighbor started off with a bang (haha), CJ (Cowboy John) bagged two bucks the first weekend. Besides enjoying the great outdoors, basking in the complete silence of pre-sunrise, savoring meals cooked over a campfire, and killing anything that moved, he made $100. It seems there is a $50 bounty on Coyote, so the next time John goes out he will not only have deer on his mind but making a few extra dollars. Warning - - if you own a dog, any color, any breed, between 1 and 200 pounds, with or without a collar, living between Spring, TX and Llano, TX, please keep the dog inside. This warning is in effect until further notice.
Fall is just around the corner, this morning is was 39 degrees and I found about twenty leaves on the ground. Ha, eat your heart out Colleen and Mark, they have spent the last three weekends raking the leaves on their property and after piling them up in the street in front of their house they had to pay their town $50 to remove them.
We had a couple of surprise guests visit us this past weekend. Debbie and Richard Huckins stopped by on their way back to San Antonio from Magnolia TX. Spent a few hours reminiscing and discussing plans to try and get together for a cruise.
I know things are bad in the Alamo city traffic wise but I don't think it was necessary for Richard to buy this for his commute.
The other surprise visitor was Mike Kennedy from Virginia. Mike is a pilot with Metropolitan Aviation out of Manassas, VA. We haven't seen him in about four years and we are hoping that the next time we see him won't take as long.
The plans for next week are for Caden to drive his parents and dog down to our house to spend Thanksgiving with his Grandparents. I am sure there will be many pictures to post.
